After our conversation Chuck, I moved Theo’s feed bucket next to the fence and started the back up, when he did I waited about 2 seconds and just before he went to move I praised him and let him have the bucket. For the next week all was going great and yesterday he didn’t back up, instead he turned his hind end to me and started to back up to me. So I and the bucket moved away out of reach after I told him no. He then turned around to see where I was and faced me, this happened twice before he did take a step back. I then praised him and let him have the bucket. This has happened every day since, first the back end before backing up. Should I keep going like this until he works it out?
